If files are marked "Damaged", these files have been permanently damaged and you cannot restore them to their original state. Usually these damaged files are corrupt and the image can no longer be viewed.

eIMAGE Recovery can recover your lost files but cannot repair damaged files. In addition, it can only recognize and mark "Damaged" image files. For other media files such as *.avi or *.mov, it cannot check on-the-fly whether they are corrupted until you save and try to play your media files.
