If you have deleted any images, you should try and attempt digital photo recovery before you reuse the memory card. This will prevent any deleted photographs being permanently overwritten and lost. If the card is reused before recovery is attempted, the probability of the image being fully recovered is significantly lower and may not actually be retrievable at all.
